Come back

Tell me it’s a lie
I don’t want to believe
The truth
Let it fool me today
And I’ll laugh at the insanity
Come back
Let those strings , tremble my heart again
Pull them , make me bleed
Until the night is all we need
I’ll listen again and again
The stories hidden in those tears
You were holding back
Come back
Like the sun
After the night’s over
and I am awake
waving off my nightmares
Wearing our ghosts
On our skin
And I’ll kiss them every night
again and again
and you will learn to live with them
Come back
Lean back
and we’ll start again..

Those leaves have started
To part the beloved hands
With gentle blows of the wind
To lay on the ground
And soak under
The gentleness of the sun

The benevolent souls
Will cherish the soft chirps
beneath Their feet
As they run into the arms
Of the love coming home

And how I wish to stay
Amidst the air of autumn
Sleeping as it chants in my ear
The lullabies I had forgotten
Oh ! October has finally come

Out of the ashes
Of the morbid wooden box
Catching for the breath
lit up
And the winds I heard
Was now clearer .
As the ashes met the ground
And like magic
The Box was gone
In recital of the words
Of wind
I were reborn …..

Look what you have done

Look what you have done
that Earth shivers
to tell .
The cry beneath
comes to wash away

Kind of yours has forgotten
the mercy , devoured.
Matchsticks flicker
to burn the live,
you live for once

The stars are burning in rage
And so our pity souls
The clouds weep
when burdened with
letters  they carry on

Look what you have done
There’s no where left
to run when trees are going to fall

Dreary of the eyes

What do you call those eyes
lost in the blackness of
the world haunted by humans ,
afraid to swallow the stars too bright .
Where the innocence hides
beneath the bruises turning to blue
and the sparkle just floats surging
with waves that never reaches the shore…

The runaway girl

Out of the million Out of the million stories
I heard one
Of a girl running
All over the world
Through the solemn storms
Through the unchained winds
In her only pair of shoes

Ran past the closed doors
The windows that never smiled
The curtains over the wounds
Under the greyish sky

Across ,
the letter box covered in snow
The chimney’s smoke
The roads that never lit
The crowd’s wit

It’s one or two she never knew
Just ran with the wind that blew
Leaving behind the girl crying
On some Street in summer time
The lady who clumsily ran into
After a drink or two
And some one staring out of
A dusty  glass pane
Counting stars in vain

She ran umpteenth miles away
From the clouds covering her town
Away at the world’s end where
The sun was rising up again
After the rain of a million days
